Emo 

Emo is a style of music that is derived from punk rock from the 1980s. The name "Emo" is associated with the expressive and emotional style of the lyrics and music. Emo stands for "Emotional" and was originally referred to a very particular kind of emotionally charged punk rock music. Now, it has come to represent the new generation of young people who put their hearts on their sleeves.

You will find acoustic guitar with soft, high male vocals that deal with the singer's feelings, especially memories of past relationships and mistakes in life. Emo guys and girls are usually teenagers who don't smile much. They wear tight wool sweaters, even tighter jeans, scarves even in the summer, black square rimmed glasses, and ebony greasy unwashed hair that is required to cover at least some part of the face at an angle.
